NJHS Surveys

A Google Classroom has been created for all NJHS members.  There are TWO surveys that NJHS members need to complete this summer in regards to the Cougar Achiever Chapter. 

• Survey #1 - "NJHS Survey"
• This survey will help Mrs. Weaver update the NJHS roster.

• Survey #2 - "NJHS 2020-2021 T-Shirt Survey"
• This survey will help Mrs. Weaver determine how many t-shirts are going to be ordered, the desired spelling of each NJHS member's name on the t-shirt, and whether an NJHS sweatshirt will be made available for ordering.
• Students need to complete the "NJHS 2020-2021 T-Shirt Survey" no later than Monday, June 15 in order to purchase a t-shirt.
• T-shirts cost $25 each.  Sweatshirts will cost $40 each (if there's enough interest).  Payments can be in the form of a check mailed to the school during the summer of 2020, paid by cash, check, or credit at Middle School Registration on July 22 or 23, or paid by credit in the school online store. 

NJHS Membership Information

As we head into summer, please make note of the following need-to-know information:

• NJHS members inducted in May 2019 continue their NJHS membership into 8th grade.

• NJHS inductees chosen in May 2020 are set to be official NJHS members in early August of 2020 following their induction ceremony.  All NJHS events scheduled from now on out will include new inductees.

• Moving to a new school?  NJHS membership is transferrable from one active NJHS chapter to another.  Simply get a letter from your NJHS faculty adviser verifying membership.  Be sure to notify your new school of your NJHS membership within 30 days of enrollment.  You will be automatically granted membership, but will need to meet the eligibility requirements of your new school within a reasonable period of time, usually one semester.  Your new school may have a higher cumulative GPA required for membership, for example.

• Mrs. Weaver and Mrs. Hughes (NJHS Faculty Advisers) will create the NJHS calendar for the 2020 - 2020 during the summer.  As soon as it is ready, the calendar will be posted on this blog, will be emailed out to all members and parents/guardians, and will be included on the middle school calendar.  Any questions regarding the 2020 - 2021 calendar can be directed to either Mrs. Weaver or Mrs. Hughes.
